Wyn and Virginia Thank you both for making our recent holiday in Axarquia so enjoyable. Our chosen base, Canillas de Albaida, is a very attractive and friendly village. We were surprised to find so many good and reasonably-priced eateries within easy walking distance of the little hotel, with its cheery owner Antonio.
The mountain scenery is spectacularly beautiful and Sheila managed to plan some excellent walks for us, despite a few little problems such as our lack of fitness, and recent rains which had turned trickling streams into raging torrents!
It was good to know that Steve would be there to pick us up at the end of the walk - with a well-stocked ice-box! Always calm and good-humoured, his excellent driving allowed us to relax and enjoy the scenery on what might otherwise have been some scary roads.
The two of you make a wonderfully considerate, reliable team and our holiday would have been much diminished without you.

Superb walking tour this January. Sheila really knows the the best places to go. The mixed perfumes of pine, thyme and rosmary from the winding mountain tracks will stay with me all year. Lower down the display of pink almond blossom among the lemon and orange trees heavy with fruit took my breath away. All this with a variety of restaurants with tasty but reasonably priced food accompanied by great conversation made an unforgetable holiday.

A most enjoyable holiday. Scenery and walking were outstanding - weather in early May was warm and dry.
Sheilas Walks, with it's flexibility, accommodated our group of eight of varying abilities very well. The early pick-up when needed on the most strenuous walks was a bonus, as all of the party could participate on the walk.
Canillas de Albaida is a delightful village with excellent and not too expensive restaurants.
A great find for both ramblers and more accomplished walkers.

Just a short note to thank you very much for a wonderful week in your beautiful village. The scenery was stunning, the walks were perfectly planned, the restaurants at the end of the walks were amazing spanish food. We loved the cottage and its views across the valleys.
Above all we really appreciated the care you took to ensure our holiday was exactly what we wanted it to be. You both worked as an excellent partnership to meet our every need.

Just returned from a wonderful holiday in Competa.Beautiful scenery, comfortable accomodation and great walks plus excursions to Granada & Cordoba courtesy of Sheila and Steven.Flexible,unhurried, they deliver what they say they do. Try them!

I am writing to thank you for the trip to Granada last Thursday. It was lovely to have such a relaxing day and not have to worry about transport. We loved Nerja and are booking for next year and hopefully will do another trip with you

Hi Sheila and Steve
A huge thank you for the Day trip to Granada - we had the most fantastic time and the Palace was truly the most amazing thing we had seen. Steve gave us a superb insight into the countryside and city and we really enjoyed it - Sadly we didn't get to Malaga and had to cancel for which we apologise again - Sadly both David and myself had started to feel unwell - it turned out when we got home, we both had the Flu and were knocked off our feet - I have only just returned to work this week after being signed off by the doctor.
We hope to visit the south of Spain again sometime and most certainly will mail you again for future trips

March 2011 - Lindsay and Sally. Just wanted to thank you both for a lovely holiday, even though the weather wasn't wonderful we had good walks stunning scenery and we loved Cordoba. We appreciate the efforts you both made to ensure we enjoyed our time with you, and when the sun did shine it was wondeful.

April 2011 Helen and Betty - I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the holiday. I have recommended you wherever possible and pehaps someone will take this up. I think the arrangements were excellent and you and Steve were so easy to get on with and keen for us to make the most of our visit.

We wanted to let you know what a brillant holiday we had with you in Competa. We both wanted a hassle free holiday with varied walking and that's exactly what we got.From the moment we were collected at the airport we felt at ease. We had five wonderful days walking with you Sheila and lovely generous lunches. The fact that you both were so flexible really made a difference. Steve's driving was always calm and unhurried. We were so relaxed after this holiday.The hotel in Competa was perfect for us, the staff were very pleasant and obliging. We went to restaurants that you suggested and the food, ambience and staff were excellent. We genuinely couldn't fault the holiday. We also loved the day in Granada, it is a fascinating place.You really did provide us with a holiday worth remembering and one we won't forget
