Very Small Group Guided Walking Holidays
Our very special walking holiday is suitable for singles, couples, small group or club, and gives the opportunity to have a fabulous
unique holiday. Based in the beautiful mountains of Axarquia, Andalucia in Southern Spain, Sheila and Steve who have lived in this
stunning area for several years, create the ideal walking holiday, tailormade to your requirements as to length, speed,uphill or downhill
etc . The first day's walk gives Sheila the opportunity to get to know you and suggest walks you will enjoy for the rest of the holiday.
The walks are all easy to moderate and are on good quality tracks. Steve drives the group, to the start of the walk, Sheila leads
the walk and then Steve picks the party up at the end of the walk, but we are very flexible, so he can drive along the track and collect
people earlier if they wish. The benign climate makes walking enjoyable for most of the year and the stunning views of mountains,
blue skies and the Mediterranean are unforgettable. There are lots of walks to choose from, but our "The Walks" page (see below) gives
a few examples. We offer a very high quality, personal service and do our utmost to ensure our guests have a really special holiday.
If
you don’t want to walk every day, you could have a day/s on the beach or visit Granada or Cordoba.
After several hours walking people
often enjoy lunch at a good restaurant where they can enjoy excellent food, wine and views and not have to worry about driving.
Our
walking holiday accommodation (see below ) is on a self catering basis in either peaceful Daimalos or busy Competa or in a small Hotel
in a pretty white village or the 3 star Hotel Balcon in busy Competa. Daimalos is a small picturesque white village with a shop, set
in beautiful countryside. Competa is a very attractive white town, which clings to the hillside, with shops, bars and restaurants.
Both are only 25 mins from the coast and 1 hour from Malaga airport.
As we only cater for small groups we are very flexible and our
holidays can be as long or short as guests require and can include sight-seeing and great days out.
