Frequently Asked Questions
How can we be sure you will be at the airport to collect us?
We will give you 3 mobile numbers and one of our team is always on standby just in case we have a problem. Also we make sure we have a couple of contact phone numbers for guests.
Do we need to hire a car?
Not if you choose to stay in the town house in Competa. In Daimalos you may prefer to hire a car. However, we will take you to a restaurant as part of each walk, so you may decide to cater for yourselves. Also we are more than happy to stock the kitchen from a list you have sent us previouslyThere is a small shop in the village, which sells basic provisions. If you do decide to hire a car we can organise this for you.
What is the weather like?
Axarquia has the sunniest climate in Europe. In all but the hot midsummer months, conditions are generally very good for a walking holiday. November, December and January generally have bright sunny skies when walking is wonderful. However, it can get cold at night and can even rain! Flights are very cheap in January and February so why not check the 5 day forecast and then our availability!
How do you cope with bigger parties?
Our drivers are all part-time workers, who we recruit as and when necessary. This enhances our flexibility and personal service
