village house Daimalos

Daimalos is a tiny village and this house is one of very few which have been modernised without changing the traditional style. The sitting room has an open fireplace, distinctive rounded recesses, simple local furniture and a built-in sofa. Off it are a twin-bed bedroom and a rustic kitchen, with a 4 - 6 seat table. Through a small lobby is another double bedroom and a fully-tiled shower room and WC.
Upstairs, is a large (10m long) twin bedroom, roofed with natural wood beams and canes, off which is a charming en-suite bathroom and WC, plus a door onto a vine-covered roof-terrace, with built-in barbecue and views over the surrounding hills.
This is a delightful house in which to spend your walking holiday in Southern Spain and enjoy the peace and beauty of Axarquia.
