Nerja
Nerja is a very attractive seaside resort just half an hour's drive from our holiday accommodation. It was a small fishing village which has been transformed tastefully into a very picturesque resort. It's lovely beaches make fabulous places to laze in summer, but the weather is sunny and quite warm most of the year.
The town itself with its narrow winding streets and white buildings is a pleasure to explore.
As with the other days out Steve and Sheila will collect from your holiday accommodation at times you choose and drive you to Nerja. The journey takes about half an hour. As usual the day is yours to organise as you wish, so might want to explore Nerja's magnificent caves.

Officially recognised as an historical and artistic monument, Nerja Caves are one of the most important prehistoric archaeological sites on the western Mediterranean. Dating back some five million years, they are notable for the large chambers filled with stalactites and stalagmites, and the immense length, over 4,000 metres.
We agree a time and place to collect guests for the drive back.
