About Us

We have spent most of our lives working for financial services companies in the city of London, where we were both accountants. Unfortunately the daily commute on the train seemed to get worse rather than better and the thrill of tight deadlines, and ever increasing work loads wore off over the years. Eventually we had reached that time in our lives, when the children had grown up and were starting their own careers.

So it was time to take a risk and follow the dream of a 'place in the sun' and come to beautiful Axarquia, in Andalucia, Southern Spain. We have now spent a wonderful six years in a tiny village called Daimalos, which really is "off the beaten track"and where we have enjoyed discovering walks and learning about the flora and fauna. It is also stunningly beautiful and boasts the best weather in Europe.

Although initially we had thought it would be wonderful simply to do nothing, this did not last for long and Sheila started exploring the countryside on foot and taking longer and longer walks. Then we bought a 4 X 4 vehicle so that we could explore further and soon we started providing day tours to show those of you who can only spend a holiday here, the beauty and delights of hidden Spain. Sheila's walking continued and we began organising our special walking holidays for people who want to walk on good quality tracks and know Sheila only has to make a phone call and Steve can drive to collect them. Our walking holidays are for people who enjoy beautiful countryside and losing the rest of the world, but not for those who enjoy scrambling up steep hillsides. All our holidays promise and deliver a totally unique experience. Now we are offering "Spanish Sightseeing Holidays", just proving it is never too late to do something completely different!

As a small team of husband, wife and friends we are thrilled to be doing what we enjoy, but can also guarantee our guests have a fantastic tailor-made holiday.
